Zydus Infrastructure Pvt Limited received notification on September 28, 2006. Today, this 91.8521-hectare campus of which approx. 29 hectares is designated green belt area under the name PHARMEZ. Strategically positioned on the Sarkhej-Bavla Highway (NH 8A), just 24 km from Ahmedabad. PHARMEZ sits in Gujarat’s “Golden Pharma Corridor,” with convenient access to both Mundra and Kandla sea ports. This prime location, adjacent to a rapidly expanding metropolitan hub, offers pharmaceutical entrepreneurs of all scales a highly conducive operating environment

Key green initiatives include
By recycling more than half a million kiloliters of effluent in 2024–25 alone, PHARMEZ not only conserves depleting water resources, also makes a strong case for circular economy principles.
Water – Carbon Credits
- We have obtained water credits approx.63 lacs and carbon credit of 1540 units.
Tree Plantation Drives
- Multi-phased afforestation campaigns—over 10,000 saplings planted by 2024
- Contributed in Tree plantation drive by GPCB with Sadbhavana Seva Trust
Solid Waste Management
- Dedicated compost yard for organic waste from canteens and Garden.
- In house non-hazardous waste collection, segregation and disposal facility aligned with approved recycler
- Hazardous-waste disposal arrangement with CPCB-approved recyclers
Green SEZ Certification
- PHARMEZ became the first private SEZ to be awarded the Green SEZ Platinum Certificate by the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC).

Blood Donation Camps
